What’s a Booster? Am I a Booster? If your child is in the marching band, you are an Active Booster Member (with voting rights).
We meet monthly (July-October). This is when we plan events, make decisions about funds, and get information from the band director about competitions and practices. Your attendance is important!

What Do We Do?
- Fundraise! Our annual budget includes the support of the marching band program in a number of ways, and we strive to minimize the out-of-pocket costs for families.
- Provide meals and snacks during Band Camp week.
- Move band equipment and props on and off the field at every home football game and marching band competition, aka Pit Crew.
- Help build sets over the summer.
- Help create a positive and welcoming environment for students and families.
- Support band operations.
How do I help?
- Attend monthly meetings. This is when we make our plans. Your input and ideas are invaluable to making things run smoothly for the band - our kids!
- Sign up for Pit Crew and help at as many competitions as you can.
- Are you good with social media or technology? Let us know! We always need help spreading the word.
- Plan and/or Lead a fundraiser.
- Donate snacks, dinners and water for competitions and Band Camp.
- Volunteer your time at fundraising events.
- Volunteer your time to build sets over the summer.

Band Camp Request
Hello Band Families,
Band Camp is August 11th-15th. As a courtesy, the Pride of Syracuse Band Booster club will provide dinner and snacks for the students Monday-Friday.
SNACK TIME is also a highlight of band camp and takes help from all families. Healthy snacks are needed throughout the week to keep the students energized. Below you will find the signup to provide food and volunteer time to support our students.
Band Camp Food Sign-Up
Also, we NEED volunteers to help serve dinner during BAND CAMP. Dinner set-up will be at 4:30pm with dinner from 5-6pm. Consider volunteering for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift using the link below. It's a great way to see the students and meet other band parents.
